Till We Have Faces

I was captivated by a Greek myth of Cupid and Psyche, as retold by C.S. Lewis in his novel Till We Have Faces. The story—about Love, human and divine, and what we do in the name of love in our lives—was strangely moving and beautifully haunting.

Images fell out of each page. I drew and painted feverishly for many months. The sentiment remains clear, in me always.
