Woonsok Kim was born Busan, Korea in 1953 and came to U.S. in 1972. She is renown for her authentic, exuberant narratives in paintings, prints, drawings, sculpture, multi media and installations, which have been shown around the world by museums and galleries since 1985. Kim works and resides in New York and Bloomington with her husband, Thomas Clement. Her copious, engaging, contemporary works result from her lifetime experiences in Korea and the United States.
